Global AEC/O software leader joins forces with regional tech innovator to redefine safety, productivity, and project intelligence across mega-projects.
The Nemetschek Group, a global leader in software solutions for the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AEC/O) industry, has announced a strategic partnership with WakeCap Technologies, the Middle East’s leading construction technology company specializing in real-time, sensor-powered project control systems.
This collaboration aims to accelerate digital transformation across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) construction ecosystem by integrating Nemetschek’s advanced software solutions with WakeCap’s field-proven, data-driven technologies. Currently deployed across giga-projects worth over $100 billion and tracking more than 150 million worker hours, WakeCap’s platform has demonstrated transformative results — including over 90% reduction in safety violations, 25% productivity gains, and 70% faster incident responses.
“Together with WakeCap, we aim to deliver connected, intelligent, and efficient project delivery models that align with the region’s national development agendas.”

Under the new agreement, both companies will jointly pursue business opportunities within the GCC, leveraging WakeCap’s regional expertise and relationships with major owners and contractors to strengthen Nemetschek’s local market presence. The partnership also opens the door to integrating WakeCap’s technologies with Nemetschek’s platforms such as Bluebeam, dTwin, and GoCanvas.
Marc Nezet, Group Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Division Officer at Nemetschek Group, remarked, “WakeCap is one of the most innovative frontrunners in global construction tech. Combining our software capabilities with their regional strength will unlock transformative outcomes for the GCC construction sector.”
Dr. Hassan Albalawi, CEO and Founder of WakeCap, added, “By merging our real-time intelligence with Nemetschek’s global software ecosystem, we are defining the future of construction technology. Together, we aim to set a global benchmark for intelligent project delivery.”
The partnership reinforces Nemetschek’s long-term commitment to advancing digital innovation in construction, while positioning the GCC — a $120 billion annual market — as a hub for next-generation, intelligent, and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
