At GISEC Global 2025, Sujoy Banerjee, Associate Director, ManageEngine discusses ManageEngine’s unified security platform, AI-driven innovations, and deeper localization strategy with Sanjay Mohapatra, Editor, Enterprise IT World MEA.

How has GISEC 2025 started for ManageEngine?

For ManageEngine, GISEC is always about strengthening our brand presence and engaging with long-standing customers. Visitors are coming in specifically to meet us, and we’re confident this year will be as impactful as ever.

ManageEngine has been a consistent participant at GITEX and GISEC for over a decade. What’s new in your showcase this year?

We’ve been present in the Middle East for over 20 years, and this marks our 12th year at GISEC. This year, we’re emphasizing the evolution of our cybersecurity offerings. While we’re showcasing our established solutions, the focus is on enhanced, AI-driven capabilities. Our goal is to provide customers with a unified security platform that integrates seamlessly across IT operations. These aren’t just upgrades—they’re maturity enhancements aligned with current threat landscapes.

“We are empowering organizations with an integrated, AI-driven security framework and a strong local presence to ensure they stay resilient against modern cyber threats.” – Sujoy Banerjee, Associate Director, ManageEngine.

The current industry narrative revolves around cyber defense and resilience. What key trends are you seeing in the Middle East?

Absolutely, cyber defense and resilience are global priorities, and the Middle East is often ahead in adoption. The rise of AI-led threats has prompted organizations to shift toward proactive security. Companies are not only investing in tools but also upskilling their cybersecurity teams. The emphasis is now on being attack-ready, not just incident-responsive. ManageEngine’s strategy aligns with this shift—we’re helping customers build that readiness with contextual AI insights, better detection, and faster mitigation.

You mentioned a unified security platform. Could you elaborate on what components this platform includes?

Certainly. Modern cyber threats are too sophisticated for fragmented tools. Our platform integrates multiple capabilities—Log360 for SIEM and log management, ADAudit Plus for Active Directory auditing, IAM solutions for access control, endpoint management, and built-in analytics. This unified approach ensures contextual threat visibility, swift detection, and automated response. Whether on-premise or cloud, our solutions offer seamless functionality and flexibility.

How do you help CISOs and security teams prepare for real-world attack scenarios?

It starts with education. We engage with CISOs through regular seminars, simulations, and hands-on trainings. We also provide training for their teams to improve operational skills. Additionally, we support both on-premise and cloud deployments, which gives organizations flexibility while adhering to compliance requirements. Through these efforts, we enable them to better visualize, simulate, and respond to potential attack vectors.

The cybersecurity market in this region is crowded. How does ManageEngine differentiate itself?

That’s a great question. In a competitive market, innovation and adaptability are key. First, our entire stack—AI, analytics, and feature enhancements—is built in-house, ensuring privacy, compliance, and faster innovation. Second, we offer full feature parity between cloud and on-premise deployments, which very few competitors can claim. This gives our customers the power to choose without compromise. Plus, our long-standing customer relationships prove our consistent evolution.

What does your regional footprint look like across the Middle East?

The Middle East is a strategic market for both ManageEngine and our parent company, Zoho Corporation. We have offices in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, with 80% of our workforce being local talent. This localization helps us serve the market better. For instance, we’ve launched a Saudi data center to ensure data sovereignty and compliance. This strong regional presence enables us to support our customers in their language, culture, and regulatory context.

What are ManageEngine’s key objectives for 2025 in this region?

For 2025, our focus is twofold: deepen relationships with existing customers by delivering more tailored features and better support, and expand our footprint through strong partner ecosystems. Our channel partners are our frontline—they represent ManageEngine, and we are committed to empowering them with the tools, training, and resources to succeed.

How do you help organizations raise internal awareness against threats like phishing and ransomware?

We conduct monthly webinars, customer training events, and product-focused conferences. These aren’t just about promoting solutions—they’re educational forums where we discuss emerging threats and share best practices. The idea is to help companies stay proactive rather than reactive. And with our close customer engagement model, we’re able to offer continuous value throughout their security journey
