Info Input Solution 7.5 introduces deeper native AI integrations, faster automation, and simplified workflow management

Kodak Alaris has launched KODAK Info Input Solution IDP Version 7.5, marking a significant evolution of its intelligent document processing (IDP) platform with expanded native AI integrations and enhanced administrative capabilities. The latest release is designed to help organizations extract greater value from their documents by improving automation speed, accuracy, and ease of management across complex workflows.

Built on Kodak Alaris’ Open Intelligence architecture, Info Input Solution enables organizations to deploy pre-trained document understanding models directly within workflows, reducing the complexity often associated with AI adoption. Version 7.5 strengthens this approach by allowing enterprises to connect seamlessly with their preferred AI services through deeper native integrations with hyperscaler platforms including Google, AWS, and Microsoft.

The update expands existing integrations with tools such as Google Doc AI, Microsoft Document Intelligence, Hyperscience, and Amazon Textract, while adding native support for Google Gemini, AWS Bedrock Data Automation, ChatGPT, and BoxAI. By combining advanced AI models with human-in-the-loop validation, the platform ensures high levels of accuracy and reliability in document classification, data extraction, and processing.

“Our goal is to make document intelligence open, application-oriented, and sustainable as AI continues to evolve,” — Megan Bevilacqua, Senior Product Manager, Kodak Alaris

Info Input Solution 7.5 also introduces operational enhancements aimed at improving throughput and usability. Smarter assignment and validation features help accelerate processing times, while a new drag-and-drop graphical workflow editor simplifies process design and job creation. In addition, the platform now includes the IRIS OCR engine at no additional cost, enabling the creation of searchable PDF/A documents with AI-driven indexing for easier content discovery across repositories.

The upgraded platform supports full automation across the document lifecycle — from classification and separation to extraction, indexing, validation, and summarization. It can process documents from any source, including unstructured and handwritten files, and automatically verify critical elements such as legal references, threshold values, and content plausibility. Built-in summarization capabilities provide quick overviews of multi-page documents or email threads, helping teams reduce manual effort and accelerate routine tasks.

Kodak Alaris continues to gain industry recognition for its IDP capabilities. The company received two Buyers Lab (BLI) Awards from Keypoint Intelligence, including a Fall Pick Award for Outstanding Intelligent Document Processing Solution and a Pacesetter Award for Excellence as a Capture & IDP Partner. Analysts have highlighted Kodak Alaris’ ability to combine capture expertise with its differentiated Open Intelligence approach.

With Version 7.5, Kodak Alaris aims to simplify AI adoption while enabling organizations to scale automation and continuously evolve their document processes in line with rapid advances in artificial intelligence.
