Global procurement tech leader JAGGAER has appointed Gopinath “GP” Polavarapu as its first Chief Digital and AI Officer (CDAO), marking a pivotal step in the company’s strategy to advance Agentic AI adoption across its JAGGAER One platform.

GP will drive the company’s AI transformation initiative, focusing on embedding LLMs, AI agents, and conversational workflows into the source-to-pay suite. These advancements aim to deliver hyper-automation in spend analysis, contract intelligence, and invoice processing, helping enterprises convert data into autonomous business actions.

“JAGGAER’s next phase is defined by generational AI transformation. GP’s appointment ensures our innovation remains aligned with customer success,” said Yancey Spruill, Interim CEO, JAGGAER and Operating Managing Director, Vista Equity Partners.

Polavarapu brings decades of experience in enterprise AI and most recently served as Chief Solutions Officer at Kore.ai. At JAGGAER, he will also spearhead AI talent acquisition, launch a Center of Excellence, and co-lead digital initiatives alongside Chief Product Officer Jon Lawrence and Chief Strategic Officer Pascal d’Arc.

This appointment underscores JAGGAER’s ambition to become the premier vertical AI provider in spend management, helping businesses achieve intelligent automation while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and cost savings.
