Intersec Dubai 2026

Global security leaders converge in Dubai as Intersec spans 65,000 sqm with 1,200+ exhibitors

The 27th edition of Intersec Dubai officially opened today, January 12, 2026, at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), marking the largest and most expansive edition in the event’s history. Spanning 65,000 gross square metres, the exhibition brings together more than 1,200 exhibitors from over 60 countries, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for security, safety, and fire protection innovation.

The event was inaugurated under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, setting the tone for three days of high-level dialogue, technology showcases, and industry collaboration.

Opening day began with the Security Leaders’ Summit, where senior policymakers and industry executives explored the theme “Security as a Business Essential.” Key discussions focused on crisis leadership, organisational resilience, and the growing role of artificial intelligence in safety and risk management, highlighting how security strategies are moving from operational necessity to boardroom priority.

“Intersec has evolved into a global barometer for how security, safety, and resilience are being redefined in an increasingly complex world,”

Technology innovation took centre stage across the exhibition halls, with companies such as Mantra Softech and Genetec unveiling next-generation biometric identity verification solutions and unified physical security platforms. These launches reflected a strong industry shift toward integrated, data-driven security ecosystems that combine physical and digital safeguards.

A major new attraction this year is the Innovation Trail, an interactive feature launched on day one to guide visitors through the most groundbreaking solutions in fire protection, cybersecurity, and critical infrastructure security. The trail is designed to help decision-makers quickly identify technologies shaping the future of the industry.

Adding to the live experience, outdoor zones hosted real-world response demonstrations, showcasing advanced firefighting, rescue, and emergency response equipment in action. These demonstrations provided attendees with a practical view of how emerging technologies perform under real-life conditions.

Intersec Dubai 2026 runs until January 14, with key milestones still ahead. On January 13, the Intersec Awards 2026 will take place at Conrad Dubai, recognising excellence and innovation across the global security industry. The event will also feature specialised forums such as Passive Fire Day and the Access Control Theatre, offering deep dives into evolving standards and niche technology trends.

Industry professionals can continue to register to attend and leverage the Intersec Mobile App for on-site networking and business matchmaking throughout the event.
