Informatica has announced the Summer 2025 release of its Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), introducing an extensive set of AI-powered capabilities aimed at simplifying enterprise access to AI-ready, trusted data. The latest enhancements span data integration, governance, quality, master data management (MDM), and iPaaS.
Highlighting the importance of data in AI adoption, Kelle Fontenot, Chief Digital Officer at KPMG, said:
“AI and digital transformation are imperative to business growth, but these efforts are only as strong as the data behind them. Whether it’s building a report or utilizing the most advanced Generative AI model, access to trusted data is critical to ensure accurate and reliable outcomes.”

One of the major upgrades is to the MDM suite, which now includes advanced enrichment, governance, and explainability features. Tools like CLAIRE Match Analysis allow greater transparency into record-matching processes, empowering business users to fine-tune rules without IT involvement. Supervised learning capabilities improve accuracy over time, while the Enrichment and Validation Orchestrator automates workflows by linking Informatica services with third-party sources.
In data integration, Informatica has launched Elastic Runtime Orchestration (tech preview) to let customers run large-scale workflows on AWS without infrastructure management. The expanded CLAIRE Copilot for data integration now offers interactive Q&A, and new connectivity options support Microsoft Fabric Delta tables, Apache Iceberg, and log-based CDC for SAP HANA.
“With the Summer 2025 release of IDMC, we’re delivering exactly what customers need — trusted data, simplified governance, and seamless integration to scale AI ambitions.”
— Krish Vitaldevara, Chief Product Officer, Informatica
The company’s iPaaS enhancements include support for Model Context Protocol servers, enabling AI agents and LLMs to access IDMC assets efficiently. New connectors for NVIDIA NIM, Databricks Mosaic AI, and Snowflake Cortex AI broaden integration capabilities, while a Recipe Marketplace allows sharing of reusable templates for AI and automation use cases.
For governance, the release introduces an AI Governance Inventory to track AI models, datasets, and approvals. Additional features include real-time data quality checks via REST APIs and AI-powered lineage discovery to speed modernization efforts.
Krish Vitaldevara, Chief Product Officer at Informatica, added:
“From enhanced master data management and real-time data quality APIs to elastic orchestration and expanded GenAI integrations, these innovations respond directly to client needs. We’re giving organizations the trusted data foundation they need to move faster and build confidently with AI.”
