Informatica Unveils Summer 2025 IDMC Release to Empower AI-Ready Data Management

In a landmark move for enterprise artificial intelligence, Informatica has announced advanced integrations with Microsoft’s Foundry platform, enhancing its Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) to deliver trusted, governed, and enterprise-ready AI solutions. Unveiled at Microsoft Ignite 2025, the collaboration aims to help organizations build, deploy, and scale agentic AI applications powered by high-quality, compliant data.

“By integrating our CLAIRE AI engine and IDMC services with Microsoft Foundry, we help customers build AI agents and applications with confidence, compliance and speed.”

— Krish Vitaldevara, Chief Product Officer, Informatica

Krish Vitaldevara, Chief Product Officer at Informatica, emphasized the synergy between IDMC, CLAIRE AI, and Microsoft Foundry—an alliance designed to fast-track enterprise AI adoption while preserving data integrity and regulatory compliance. The integration allows AI agents to access near real-time governed datasets across Informatica’s Cloud Data Governance, Data Quality, and Master Data Management services using the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

New GenAI Recipes and agentic blueprints for Foundry were also introduced—featuring ready-to-deploy solutions for domains such as loan processing and automobile insurance claims. These prebuilt templates significantly reduce development time, enabling enterprises to quickly operationalize GenAI capabilities.

“Trusted, governed data is critical to delivering accurate and responsible outcomes.”
