New capabilities simplify hybrid, multi-cloud network operations with integrations across Akamai, Cloudflare, Google Cloud and Microsoft.

Infoblox, a global leader in uniting networking, security and cloud, announced a major expansion of its Universal DDI™ Product Suite, marking a milestone year with over 200 enterprise customers adopting its protective DDI platform. Designed to unify DNS, DHCP and IPAM into a single SaaS-based management plane, the Universal DDI platform has seen rapid uptake across Fortune 500 companies in financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and retail.

As enterprises modernize for AI-driven operations, many still struggle with fragmented tools, configuration errors, and downtime—costing large enterprises an average of $1.4 million per hour. Infoblox’s Universal DDI addresses these challenges by providing centralized visibility, automation, and AI-powered analysis across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The solution helps reduce outages, accelerate application rollouts, and enhance resilience—key pillars for building AI-ready network infrastructure.

“In an era where every app, user and AI workload depends on the network, foundational services like DNS, DHCP and IPAM can’t be left behind,” said Scott Harrell, president and CEO, Infoblox. “Universal DDI isn’t just a better way to run the network; it’s a cornerstone for enterprises that want to move fast with confidence and prepare for the AI future.”

Among the latest innovations announced are:

  • Universal DDI for Microsoft Management, enabling centralized DNS and DHCP control across Microsoft platforms.
  • Integration with Google Cloud Internal Range, allowing consistent IPAM policies across clouds.
  • Unified Management of External DNS, extending oversight to Akamai and Cloudflare.
  • AI-powered risk detection, identifying IP conflicts and DNS anomalies across distributed environments.

Nordstrom, one of the early adopters, reported a 30% performance improvement and significant latency reduction after consolidating fragmented DNS components with Infoblox.

“These updates eliminate long-standing trade-offs between control and speed,” said Mukesh Gupta, chief product officer, Infoblox. “By unifying internal and external DNS and embedding AI-driven insights, we’re helping enterprises modernize core services and transform how networks operate at scale.”

Industry analysts believe this momentum signals a critical shift in network modernization strategies. “Generative and agentic AI demand high-performing, resilient networks,” added Jim Frey, principal analyst at Omdia. “Infoblox’s Universal DDI closes essential gaps and sets the stage for scalable, AI-ready enterprise networks.”

With these advancements, Infoblox reinforces its role as a foundational enabler for hybrid, multi-cloud and AI-driven network transformation, simplifying operations while fortifying enterprise resilience.
