IFS Cloud 25R1 and AI-driven ALM Capabilities to Take Center Stage, May 27–29

IFS is set to showcase its latest Industrial AI innovations at the World Utilities Congress 2025 in Abu Dhabi, where the company will highlight how its composable platform is transforming asset management for the energy and utility sectors. At the event, IFS will present real-world use cases that enable utilities to modernize aging infrastructure, enhance operational resilience, and accelerate progress toward sustainability goals.

A key focus of the showcase will be IFS’s integrated Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) strategy, powered by AI and predictive analytics. This approach allows utilities to shift from reactive to proactive asset maintenance, significantly reducing downtime while optimizing investments and overall asset performance.

“Industrial AI is now mission-critical for utilities navigating rapid growth, infrastructure strain, and sustainability demands.” — Vijay Jaswal, CTO, APJMEA, IFS

“With IFS Cloud 25R1, we are putting industrial AI to work in the places it matters most: on the grid, in the pipeline, and out in the field,” said Vijay Jaswal, CTO, APJMEA at IFS. “Utility organisations across the Middle East are under immense pressure to align rapid infrastructure growth with energy transition goals. Our platform empowers them to predict, prevent, and perform like never before—while remaining competitive, compliant, and aligned with both national visions and global targets.”

The IFS Cloud 25R1 release integrates Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Field Service Management (FSM), and AI capabilities into a single platform. This composable architecture eliminates operational silos and supports data-driven decision-making across the asset lifecycle.

As Middle Eastern utilities push forward with digital transformation, smart grid deployments, and decarbonization efforts, IFS’s presence at the Congress reinforces its commitment to enabling next-gen service delivery and workforce optimization in the sector.

IFS leadership will also contribute to strategic discussions during the event. Vijay Jaswal will speak on the “Revolutionizing Water Infrastructure with Smart Innovation and Collaboration” panel on May 28, while Andrew Sutherland, SVP at IFS, will participate in the “Driving Scale and Responsible Growth in Carbon Markets” session on May 29. Attendees can engage with IFS executives at Booth 6140 throughout the Congress.
