HPE and Veeam Strengthen Global Alliance to Power Radical Data Resilience

New joint solution integrates VM image-based backup, multi-hypervisor support, and cloud-native protection for hybrid cloud enterprises

In a major move to enhance enterprise data protection, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Veeam Software have deepened their long-standing collaboration to offer robust and integrated solutions for data backup, recovery, and resilience. The announcement marks a significant evolution in the companies’ partnership, aimed at helping organizations combat rising cyber threats and manage IT complexity with a future-ready approach.

At the heart of the new offering is the integration of the Veeam Data Platform with HPE Morpheus VM Essentials Software. This delivers image-based backup capabilities, VM migration, and seamless data portability across traditional hypervisor environments. Enterprises running private cloud or standalone servers will benefit from multi-hypervisor protection and up to 90% reduction in VM license costs, enabling a more agile and cost-effective IT strategy.

Additionally, Veeam Kasten extends protection to containerized and cloud-native workloads, ensuring end-to-end coverage across virtual, physical, and Kubernetes environments. The powerful trio—Veeam Data Platform, HPE Morpheus, and HPE Zerto Software—creates a unified data resilience ecosystem for today’s hybrid IT landscape.

To further elevate enterprise readiness, the two companies also unveiled “Data Resilience by Design”, a joint framework combining HPE cybersecurity services with Veeam’s resilience capabilities. The initiative provides customers with strategic guidance to assess and strengthen their security posture, making data resilience a core component of digital transformation.

“Our enhanced partnership ensures organizations can deploy HPE virtualization with Veeam intelligence for maximum data resilience.”
— Anand Eswaran, CEO, Veeam Software

“This partnership is not just about backup—it’s about ensuring enterprises can continue to operate in the face of disruptions,” said Eswaran. “Radical resilience starts with an integrated, intelligent approach to data.”

With increased joint investment in go-to-market strategies and integrated engineering, HPE and Veeam are reaffirming their commitment to safeguarding the most critical enterprise asset: data. As organizations continue to navigate hybrid cloud adoption, the collaboration delivers confidence, control, and continuity—making business resilience a reality.
