HID has introduced the OMNIKEY SE Plug, a sleek and portable RFID reader that brings strong, passwordless authentication to mobile professionals across sectors. Unveiled at ISC West 2025, the device is designed to meet the growing demand for secure, flexible access solutions in hybrid work environments, remote operations, and field deployments.

The OMNIKEY SE Plug connects via USB-C and works seamlessly with laptops, tablets, and smartphones, enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA) and support for FIDO2 and other credential formats. Built with HID’s hallmark security architecture, the compact reader ensures robust data protection and compliance with cybersecurity regulations.
