GISEC Global 2025 Kicks Off in Dubai, Uniting the World Against Cyber Threats

Middle East’s largest cybersecurity event opens with global leaders, cutting-edge innovations, and urgent dialogue on AI threats, nation-state attacks, and resilience.

The region’s most anticipated cybersecurity event, GISEC Global 2025, officially opened today at the Dubai World Trade Centre, drawing thousands of cybersecurity professionals, global leaders, tech innovators, and government officials for three days of high-stakes dialogue and groundbreaking solutions.

Organized under the theme “Securing the Future: AI, Cyber Warfare & Digital Sovereignty,” GISEC 2025 promises to be the most expansive edition yet. The opening keynote featured top security advisors from the UAE and international cybersecurity agencies, highlighting the escalating threat landscape driven by AI-powered attacks, ransomware-as-a-service, and state-sponsored campaigns.

This year’s event hosts over 500 exhibiting brands, including global giants and rising cybersecurity startups, showcasing advancements in threat detection, zero-trust architecture, quantum-safe encryption, and generative AI security tools. Key exhibitors include Palo Alto Networks, Huawei, Cisco, Thales, and UAE-headquartered companies like CPX and Spire.

Multiple government pavilions—from the UAE Cybersecurity Council to Saudi Arabia’s National Cybersecurity Authority—are participating with live demos and strategic announcements.

Special focus areas include Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure, AI & Deepfake Threats, Women in Cybersecurity, and Startup Village, where innovators pitch next-gen cyber defense tools to global investors.

“GISEC is more than an exhibition—it’s a global movement to protect our digital world,” said H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of UAE Cybersecurity. “This year, the stakes are higher, and collaboration is the only way forward.”

GISEC Global 2025 runs through May 8, with hundreds of sessions, hackathons, workshops, and networking opportunities across the venue.
