Landmark UAE-Italy collaboration to accelerate sovereign AI infrastructure and digital transformation
G42, the Abu Dhabi-based AI technology leader, has announced a major partnership with European AI firm iGenius to deploy Europe’s largest AI compute cluster, powered by thousands of NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs. The move marks a major milestone in UAE-Italy digital collaboration and lays the foundation for sovereign AI infrastructure across the continent.
The announcement, made at Investopia Europe 2025 in Milan, follows the UAE-Italy bilateral agreements signed earlier this year. G42’s subsidiary, Core42, will lead the operational rollout of the cluster, which will power iGenius’ next-generation Colosseum AI data center, designed for highly regulated industries and mission-critical AI workloads.
