Ferrovial becomes anchor client, deploying 30+ AI agents to drive operational efficiency and safety.
DXC Technology has launched the DXC AI Workbench, a new generative AI offering designed to help enterprises integrate and scale responsible AI across their operations. Ferrovial, a major global infrastructure company, is the first anchor client to adopt the platform, already enhancing operations for its 24,000 employees.
Built to combine consulting, engineering, and secure enterprise services, the AI Workbench delivers ready-to-scale AI solutions with built-in governance, ensuring deployments are secure, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals.
“AI isn’t a plug-and-play solution—leveraging GenAI securely and compliantly demands human expertise, customization, and a focus on outcomes,” said Howard Boville, President of DXC Consulting & Engineering Services. “We’re helping clients like Ferrovial to build and implement AI solutions that create real, scalable value.”

At Ferrovial, DXC’s AI Workbench has enabled the deployment of over 30 specialized AI agents on a Microsoft Azure-powered platform. These agents are already transforming operations—optimizing field activities, enhancing safety protocols, managing knowledge assets, analyzing competitive landscapes, and assessing regulatory impacts. Integration with back-office systems like Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams, and Ferrovial’s custom apps has fast-tracked automation and data-driven decision-making across the company’s global footprint.
“By working with DXC, we’ve unlocked new levels of operational efficiency and reduced risks,” said Dimitris Bountolos, Chief Information and Innovation Officer (CIIO) at Ferrovial. “Integrating AI into our core business processes has revolutionized how we manage knowledge, reduce costs, and make strategic decisions—giving us a competitive edge.”
The launch of AI Workbench positions DXC Technology at the forefront of responsible AI deployment for enterprises, especially in industries that demand scale, security, and compliance. With its deep industry knowledge and technical expertise, DXC aims to help global customers harness AI’s full potential without compromising on governance or security.
