Confluent Launches Confluent Intelligence in the Middle East, Unlocking Real-Time Context for Enterprise AI

New unified platform accelerates the shift from AI pilots to production-ready, context-rich AI systems across Middle Eastern enterprises.

Confluent has introduced Confluent Intelligence to the Middle East at its Data Streaming World Tour in Dubai, positioning the fully managed platform as the fastest path for organisations to build and scale real-time, context-aware AI. Built on Confluent Cloud, the stack enables enterprises to continuously stream and process historic as well as real-time data—feeding AI systems with reliable, trustworthy context essential for decision-making at scale.

The launch comes at a time when Middle Eastern organisations are rapidly shifting from AI experimentation to large-scale deployment. However, despite global AI investments of $30–$40 billion, 95% of generative AI initiatives fail to deliver ROI, largely due to the absence of context-rich data. Confluent Intelligence aims to bridge this gap by providing an always-on data foundation capable of evaluating what has happened, adapting to what is happening, and supplying that context instantly to AI agents.

“Across the Middle East, organisations are rapidly progressing from experimentation to real, production-grade AI,” said Karim Azar, AVP and GM – Middle East, Confluent. “With Confluent Intelligence, we’re enabling them to take the next step and harness the full potential of their data to power adaptive, context-aware AI applications.”

Confluent Intelligence: Engineered for Enterprise-Ready AI

The platform leverages Apache Kafka® and Apache Flink® to deliver real-time context, agentic AI, and built-in machine learning capabilities:

  • Real-Time Context Engine (Early Access): A fully managed stream of structured, trustworthy context delivered directly to AI agents or external models via the Model Context Protocol (MCP), eliminating the complexity of backend infrastructure.
  • Streaming Agents (Open Preview): Native Flink-based event-driven agents that observe, reason, and act in real time, enabling automation and unified data processing.
  • Built-in ML Functions (GA on Confluent Cloud): Tools for anomaly detection, forecasting, and inference directly in Flink SQL for immediate insights and operational agility.

Strengthening its AI ecosystem, Confluent also announced a deepened partnership with Anthropic, making Claude the default LLM for Streaming Agents. This integration allows enterprises to develop adaptive AI systems capable of advanced anomaly detection, real-time personalization, and other high-value use cases.

“Off-the-shelf models are powerful, but without the continuous flow of data, they can’t deliver decisions that are timely and uniquely valuable to a business,” said Jay Kreps, Co-founder and CEO, Confluent. “That’s where data streaming becomes essential.”

With Confluent Intelligence, the company aims to give Middle Eastern enterprises a unified, fully managed foundation to build scalable, trustworthy, and context-driven AI, moving them beyond pilots and into production at speed.
