Enhancements span protection, recovery, detection, and AI-powered intelligence to help enterprises thrive in an increasingly complex digital economy.
Cohesity, the AI-powered data security leader, has announced a series of innovations and strategic partnerships designed to help enterprises build resilience against escalating cyber threats. The updates, revealed at the company’s Catalyst 1 Data Security Summit, focus on strengthening protection, accelerating recovery, and extending value through AI-driven knowledge discovery.
Among the key highlights is expanded workload protection across all three leading hyperscale clouds—AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud—alongside on-premises isolated vaults for organizations with strict data sovereignty requirements. Cohesity also introduced Cohesity Identity Resilience powered by Semperis to safeguard Microsoft Active Directory, one of the most heavily targeted systems in cyberattacks.
“Cyberattacks are now a permanent feature of the business landscape, and organisations can no longer rely on prevention alone. These innovations bring advanced protection, faster recovery, and AI-powered intelligence so customers can withstand attacks and unlock the full value of their data.” – Johnny Karam, Managing Director & VP, International Emerging Region, Cohesity
Partnership expansions include tighter integration with Cyera, the AI-native data security platform, enabling real-time data classification and governance, and collaboration with 11:11 Systems to deliver unified, AI-enhanced data resilience solutions. These steps underscore Cohesity’s vision of comprehensive, enterprise-wide cyber resilience.
For faster recovery, Cohesity unveiled new capabilities including FortKnox Self-managed—an on-premises virtual vault leveraging obfuscation technologies—and RecoveryAgent, a cyber recovery orchestration tool that automates rehearsals and recovery execution with embedded malware scanning and agentic AI features.
Cohesity is also enhancing its Gaia AI-powered knowledge discovery assistant, which now offers a redesigned search interface, sensitive data redaction, multi-language support, and integrations with Slack and Google Agentspace. This allows enterprises to securely transform protected data into actionable insights that drive efficiency and innovation.
“Data sprawl and cloud adoption are raising compliance and security risks,” said Amit Raikar, VP of Strategic Alliances at Cyera. “Our integration with Cohesity ensures sensitive information remains compliant, secure, and recoverable.”
By combining advanced protection, faster recovery, and AI intelligence, Cohesity’s latest innovations are designed to help enterprises not just survive cyberattacks but emerge stronger, safeguarding reputation, compliance, and long-term competitiveness.
