Cloudflare has announced NET Dollar, a U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin designed to support secure, instant transactions across the emerging agentic web. The move signals a major shift in how the Internet’s financial infrastructure could evolve to meet the demands of AI-driven automation.

Cloudflare is also contributing to open standards like the Agent Payments Protocol and x402, aiming to simplify how agents send and receive payments online.
