AVEVA Day Egypt to Highlight AI and Digital Transformation in Industry

Event to showcase how digital twins, AI, and smart technologies are shaping Egypt’s Vision 2030 goals.

AVEVA will host AVEVA Day Egypt on 1 October 2025 at the Triumph Luxury Hotel in Cairo, bringing together industry leaders, customers, and experts to explore how artificial intelligence and digital technologies are transforming Egypt’s industrial landscape.

The event will focus on AI-driven solutions such as digital twins, unified engineering, and predictive analytics, which are enabling industries to enhance efficiency, resilience, and sustainability while reducing emissions. Discussions will also spotlight how digital innovation supports Egypt’s Vision 2030 and its shift towards Industry 5.0.

“Egypt’s strategic location, growing infrastructure, and commitment to sustainable development makes it a strong player in advancing digital transformation,” said Nayef Bou Chaaya, Vice President, MEA, AVEVA. “At AVEVA Day Egypt, we will demonstrate how digital innovation supports the goals of Vision 2030 by driving industrial performance, reducing environmental impact, and accelerating long-term economic diversification.”

The agenda includes insights from key speakers:

  • Karim Solyman, General Manager, Decision Support Systems – DTU Department, MOP, on executive command centers and value chain optimization.
  • Mahmoud Emad, Digital Integrated Engineering Systems Division Manager, ENPPI, on digital twin handover and operational benefits.
  • Khaled Osama Ali, Digital Operations Manager, PSP, on the evolution of EPC 4.0.

AVEVA experts will also present on AI-powered predictive analytics, asset information management, and 3D visualization to optimize operations and reduce downtime. The role of CONNECT, AVEVA’s industrial intelligence platform, in supporting Egypt’s mining modernization will be a key highlight.

With its newly opened office in Egypt, AVEVA is strengthening local collaboration with the government and investing in talent development through training programs, university partnerships, and internships, ensuring a digitally skilled workforce to support the country’s industrial growth.
