In a major step toward advancing the green hydrogen economy, AVEVA, a global leader in industrial software, has partnered with Protium, the UK’s largest green hydrogen developer, to build a cutting-edge digital industrial intelligence platform. This collaboration aims to accelerate the development and deployment of scalable, sustainable hydrogen solutions.
By integrating AVEVA’s advanced software suite, Protium has already achieved significant operational gains—30% reduction in process simulation time, 15% increase in reliability, and 15% savings in maintenance costs. These efficiencies are expected to contribute to saving 256,000 tons of CO₂ annually, with an additional 5–10% reduction projected through optimized process design and utility consumption.
